Templates on the XAUUSD Charts Menu in the MT5 Platform

The templates option is provided within the charts menu on the MT5 gold trading platform. The MetaTrader 5 template is used by many traders to save their gold trading systems, this way they can load the xauusd trading system on a new chart directly from this template option without having to put the gold chart indicators one by one every time they open a new chart. Save a XAUUSD Trading System as a Template on the MT5 Platform

For example as a gold trader you may come up with a xauusd trading system shown below.

This gold trading system takes 5 minute to set up, It would take you 5 minutes to set it on every gold chart you open. But the MetaTrader 5 chart template will save you this time by saving this gold trading system as a xauusd MetaTrader 5 chart template and to place this MetaTrader 5 chart template on another gold chart you only need to load the MetaTrader 5 chart template on the MetaTrader 5 Platform.

To save the above gold trading system you will open the MetaTrader 5 chart templates button within the charts menu on MT5 and use the save MetaTrader 5 chart template option.

After selecting the save MetaTrader 5 chart template button the following popup will appear and you can save the MetaTrader 5 chart template and give it a name as shown below.

The first step is to give the MetaTrader 5 chart template a name, we name our MetaTrader 5 chart template as tradeforextrading and click the save button.

To load a MetaTrader 5 chart template on the MT5 platform, go the charts menu on the MetaTrader 5 Platform select the MetaTrader 5 chart templates button and select the submenu item for load MetaTrader 5 chart template. This will load the named MetaTrader 5 chart template on to the new xauusd trading chart as is shown below.

The named MetaTrader 5 chart template on the MetaTrader 5 Platform is shown on the list above: this is a short cut for the available MetaTrader 5 chart templates that have been saved on the MT5 platform. Another option is using the "Load Template", which is the second option marked as "Load Template" on the MetaTrader 5 chart template menu sub items on the MetaTrader 5.

The third option in the MetaTrader 5 chart template sub menus is the remove MetaTrader 5 chart template; this sub menu item will remove any MT5 chart template that is loaded on the xauusd chart.
