Grid, Volumes, Auto Scroll and MT5 Gold Chart Shift Options on MetaTrader 5
MT5 Grid
The MT5 grid button on the charts menu option of the MT5 Gold Trading Platform is used to draw grid lines as shown below. A trader may prefer to trade with grids on the gold chart or not and will use this button key to explain or hide the Grid.
The MT5 Grid button key is shown below (Shortcut for this menu is Ctrl+G)
MT5 Volumes Indicator
Volumes in Gold Trading represent tick volumes or the number of times the tick for xauusd price changes during a particular time period. The more the tick changes the more the volumes. These volumes in Gold Trading are used to estimate the number of gold traders participating in the xauusd trading market.
Volumes are drawn as green bars below each xauusd candle , and the height of these green bars represent the tick volume for a particular candlestick. (Shot cut key for Volumes : Ctrl+L)
MT5 Auto Scroll
Auto scroll option when activated will automatically scroll to the most recent gold candle stick bar for every gold chart that is opened. Therefore, the most recent information is displayed & as a trader you don't have to scroll to these recent gold candlestick bars every time you open a new xauusd chart.
MT5 XAUUSD Charts Shift
This MT5 Gold Charts Shift button is used to shift the gold chart more towards the center, instead of the last candlestick being right at the right side of the MT5 platform, the MT5 gold charts shift button will shift the most recent gold candlestick towards the center. Gold traders prefer to trade with most recent gold candlestick shifted toward the middle - this makes it easier to analyze the gold chart price movements when they are more towards the center.
For example, the MT5 Gold Charts Shift button is shown below as an arrow pointing down, by pressing this MT5 gold charts shift button within the chart menus(highlighted below by a rectangle), the last gold candlestick will shift from the right and move up to this point as shown in the MT5 Gold Charts Shift examples shown below.
