Place On Balance Volume Indicator on Forex Chart in MT5 - Forex Volume Indicator

The OBV forex volume technical indicator can be used as a forex reversal indicator, forex exit indicator or forex entry indicator. This OBV indicator tutorial will explain how to place the On Balance Volume indicator on a Forex MT5 chart on the MT5 Platform - MT5 software.

How to Place OBV Forex MT5 Indicator in MT5 Forex Charts - Volume Indicator Trading

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on Forex Platform

Open Navigator window as shown & illustrated below: Navigate to " View " menu (click on it), then select " Navigator " window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On MT5 Navigator window, choose 'Indicators' , (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand MetaTrader 5 Forex Trading indicators Menu on the Navigator Window

Expand menu by clicking expand button key marker (+) or doubleclick "indicators" menu, after this the MT5 button key will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown and illustrated below.

From the Above window you can then place any MT5 indicator that you want in MetaTrader 5 chart. The OBV forex volume technical indicator can be used as a forex reversal indicator, forex exit indicator or forex entry indicator.

Placing On Balance Volume Indicator on Chart

Step 1: Select the On Balance Volume button on the MT5 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click On Balance Volume Button Key, & click okay to attach the OBV Indicator on forex chart as shown & illustrated below:

Edit OBV FX Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust Settings, right click on On Balance Volume Technical Indicator, choose properties & then edit the properties of the indicator using the pop up menu that pops & then click ok button after you've changed settings.

The following pop up window appears and On Balance Volume Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up panel.
