How to Place MT5 Indicators in MT5 Forex Trading Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on Forex Platform

Open Navigator window as shown & illustrated below: Navigate to " View " menu (click on it), then select " MetaTrader 5 Navigator " window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click the "MetaTrader 5 Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On MT5 Navigator window, choose 'Indicators' , (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand MetaTrader 5 Forex Trading indicators Menu on the Navigator Window

Expand MT5 indicator menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or doubleclick "indicators" menu, after this the MT5 button key will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown and illustrated below.

From the Above panel you can then place any MT5 indicator you want in MetaTrader 5 chart.

Placing Average Directional Movement on a FX Chart

Step 1: Select the Average Directional Movement Index button on the MT5 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the ADX Button Key, and click okay to insert the technical indicator on forex chart as shown and illustrated below:

Edit ADX Forex Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust Settings, right-click on ADX, select properties & then edit the properties of the indicator using the pop up menu that pops & then click okay button after you've changed settings.

The following pop up window appears & ADX settings can be edited from this popup window.
