How to Place MetaTrader 5 Indicators on MetaTrader 5 Forex Trading Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on FX Trading Platform

Open Navigator window as shown and illustrated below: Navigate to ' View ' menu (click on it), then select ' Navigator ' window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click 'Navigator' button or press keyboard short cut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On MT5 Navigator window, choose 'Indicators' , (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand MT5 FX Trading indicators Menu on the Navigator Window

Expand menu by clicking expand button key marker (+) or doubleclick 'indicators' menu, after this the MT5 button key will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown & illustrated below.

From the Above panel you can then add any MetaTrader 5 indicator you want in MT5 chart.

Placing Heiken Ashi on Chart

Step 1: Choose the Heiken Ashi button on the MetaTrader 5 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click Heiken Ashi Button Key, and click okay to place the indicator on forex chart as shown below:

Edit Heiken Ashi FX Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust Settings, right-click in Heiken Ashi Technical Indicator, select properties and then edit the properties of the indicator using the pop up menu that pops and then click okay button key after you have changed settings.

The following pop up window appears and Trading Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up panel.
