How to Place MetaTrader 5 Technical Indicators on MT5 Forex Trading Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on FX Trading Platform

Open Navigator window as shown & illustrated below: Navigate to ' View ' menu (click on it), then select ' MT5 Navigator ' window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click 'MetaTrader 5 Navigator' button or press keyboard short cut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On MT5 Navigator window, choose 'Indicators' , (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand MT5 FX Trading indicators Menu on the Navigator Window

Expand the MT5 indicator menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or doubleclick 'indicators' menu, after this the MT5 button key will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown & illustrated below.

From the Above panel you can then place any MetaTrader 5 indicator you want in MetaTrader 5 chart.

Placing ATR on a Chart

Step 1: Select the Average True Range button on the MT5 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click Average True Range Button Key, and click okay to place the ATR on forex chart as shown below:

Edit FX Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust Settings, right-click in ATR, choose properties & then edit the properties of the indicator using the popup menu that pops & then click ok button key after you have changed settings.

The following popup window appears & Average True Range Trading Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up panel.
