Trading Gold Hide Trading Symbols on MetaTrader 4
To hide Trading Symbols on the MT4 platform use the MetaTrader 4 "Market Watch" Window.
To Open the MT4 Market Watch Window, Click "View" Menu next to "File" Menu at the top left corner of the MT4 platform, then from the drop down menu select "Market Watch" button so as to open the "Market Watch" on the MetaTrader 4 gold trading Platform.
Once you open the Market Watch window the list of available trading instrument symbols will be displayed on the MetaTrader 4 platform.
As a gold trader you may want to hide some of the trading instrument symbols available on the MetaTrader 4 platform so as only to be left with the trading instruments that you are only trading with.

To Save Internet Bandwidth, (Especially if you are using mobile trader, or pay per MB internet)
To save internet bandwidth select a list of all the trading instruments you will be trading by opening charts for only these gold symbols, say example, 5 gold trading instruments, after selecting these gold symbols by opening their trading charts, then select and click "Hide All" button, this will then hide all the trading symbols that you do not require to trade with and this will save you internet bandwidth.
Even if you do not want to save internet bandwidth, you can select the option to "Hide All" gold symbols on the MetaTrader 4 platform, this will save computer processor resources and RAM, especially if you trade with a xauusd trading broker that provides hundreds of gold trading instruments, gold symbols and financial instruments, there no need to have all these 100 or 200 trading symbols and financial instruments streaming xauusd price quotes on your MT4 or MT5 platform after all you need only about 10 to 20 trading instruments or a few financial instruments to trade with. You can always "Show All" symbols >>> then Select a new trading instrument symbol by opening its chart, >>> Then "hide all" after you have selected the new gold symbol, your newly selected gold symbol will be added on this minimized list of trading symbols on the MT4 platform.
