Trading XAUUSD Buy and Sell on MT4 XAUUSD Charts

To open a buy or a sell gold trade on the MT4 platform - open the Market Watch Window, Select the Gold Trading Symbol you want to open a Gold Trade with, open the chart of the trading instrument symbol by double clicking on the gold quote, then from the chart open a buy or sell gold trade using the MT4 order window shown below:

How to Place a New XAUUSD Trading Order in Tools Menu in MT4 Gold Trading Platform

A new buy or sell order to buy or sell gold can be found on the tools menu within the MT4 Gold Trading Platform. The "New Order" button for placing a new trade transaction on the MetaTrader 4 platform is shown below. (Keyboard Short Cut Keys "F9")

Buy or Sell Gold Trading Order on MT4 XAUUSD Trading Software

As a gold trader, once you select the new order button as illustrated above the following trade order popup window will appear. This popup includes the settings for placing a new xauusd trade.

Select Buy to open a Buy Trade

Select Sell to open a Sell Trade

The Following Settings are specified for placing a new xauusd trade order:

1. Symbol - Specify the instrument to be traded.
2. Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
3. Stop Loss XAUUSD Order - Set Stop Loss Gold Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending gold orders
4. Take Profit XAUUSD Order - Set Take Profit Gold Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending gold orders
5. Type: Market Execution or Pending XAUUSD Order
6. Sell by Market - Open a Sell Trade
7. Buy by Market - Open a Buy Trade

To Buy at current xauusd trading price select the Buy by Market button

To Sell at current xauusd trading price select the Sell by Market button
