Place On Balance Volume Indicator on Forex Chart in MT4 - Forex Volume Indicator

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on FX Trading Platform

Open Navigator window as shown and illustrated below: Navigate to ' View ' menu (click on it), then select ' Navigator ' window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click 'Navigator' button or press keyboard short cut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator window, choose 'Indicators' , (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Forex Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand menu by clicking expand button key marker (+) or doubleclick 'indicators' menu, after this the button key will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown and illustrated below.

From Above window you can then place any technical indicator you want on the forex chart. The OBV forex volume technical indicator can be used as a forex reversal indicator, forex exit indicator or forex entry indicator.

Placing On Balance Volume Trading Indicator on Chart

Step 1: Choose the On Balance Volume button key in MT4 list of technical indicators as displayed below:

Step 2: Double click On Balance Volume Button Key, & click okay to attach the OBV Indicator on the forex chart as shown & illustrated below:

To Adjust Settings, right click in On Balance Volume Technical Indicator, choose properties & then edit the properties of the indicator using the pop up menu that pops & then click ok button key after you've changed settings.

The following pop up window appears & On Balance Volume Trading Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up window.
