How Do I Hide XAUUSD Symbol on MetaTrader 5?
To hide gold trading Quotes in MT5 software use MT5 "Market Watch" Window Panel.
To Open the MT5 Market Watch Window Panel, Click "View" Menu next to the "File" Menu at the tops left corner of MetaTrader 5 platform, then from the drop-down menu select "Market Watch" button so as to open "Market Watch" on the MetaTrader 5 gold Platform.
Once you open the Market Watch window the list of available instrument quotes will be displayed on MT5 software.
As a trader you may want to hide some of the gold symbols available on the MT5 platform so as only to be left with the instruments that you are only trading with.

To Save Internet Bandwidth, (Especially if you are using mobile trader, or pay per MB inter-net)
To save inter-net band width choose list of all the instruments you'll be trading by opening charts for only these symbols, say example, 5 instruments, after choosing these quotes by opening their trading charts, then select & click the "Hide All" button, this will then hide all the symbols which you don't need to trade with & this will save you internet band width.
Even if you do not want to save internet bandwidth, you can choose the option to "Hide All" gold quotes in MT5 platform, this will save computer processor resources and RAM, especially if you trade with a broker that provides hundreds of trading instruments, gold symbols and other trading instruments, there no need to have all these 100 or 200 trading symbols streaming price quotes on your MT5 platform after all you need only about 10 to 20 trading instruments or a few trading financial instruments to trade with. You can always "Show All" quotes >>> then Choose a new gold symbol by opening its gold chart, >>> Then "hide all" after you have selected the new gold symbol, your newly selected gold quote will be added on this minimized list of symbols in MT5 software.
