How to Place MetaTrader 5 Technical Indicators on MT5 Energies Trading Charts

Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Window

Open Navigator window as shown and illustrated below: Navigate to ' View ' menu (click on it), then select ' MT5 Navigator ' window (click), or From Standard Toolbar click 'MetaTrader 5 Navigator' button or press keyboard short cut keys 'Ctrl+N'

On MetaTrader 5 Navigator window, choose 'Indicators' , (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the MetaTrader 5 Technical Indicators Menu on Navigator Menu

Expand MetaTrader 5 indicator menu by clicking the expand button key marker (+) or double-click 'indicators' menu, after this the MetaTrader 5 button key will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown and illustrated below.

From the Above window you can then place any MT5 indicator that you want in the MetaTrader 5 energies chart.

Placing Average Directional Movement on a Energy Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the ADX button on the MT5 list of indicators shown below:

Step 2: Double click the ADX Button, & click okay to place the technical indicator on the energies chart as shown and illustrated below:

To Adjust Settings, right click on the ADX, select properties & then edit properties of the technical indicator using pop up menu that pops up & then click okay button after you've changed settings.

The following popup window appears and ADX settings can be edited from this popup window.
