What is a Channel in Commodities?
A channel can be defined as a trading range for a commodity instrument within which the commodities trading price of a commodity instrument moves within in what is known as a commodities trend.
The channel can be an upward commodity channel or a downward commodity channel.
Traders use commodity channels to analyze commodities trading price movements and determine what trade to take depending on the signal generated by the technical analysis of the commodity channel.

An upward commodity channel is plotted by plotting a line that is parallel to the upwards commodity trend line & then adjusted to touch the tops boundary of the commodities trading price movement. This then forms a channel & as long as the commodities price stays between these 2 channels the bullish market commodity trend movement will continue heading up - bullish commodities trend.
