Place On Balance Volume Indicator in XAGUSD Chart on MT4

The OBV silver trading volume indicator can be used as a silver trading reversal indicator, silver trading exit indicator or silver entry indicator. This OBV indicator lesson will describe how to place the OBV indicator on a Chart on the MT4 Trading Platform - MT4 platform.

How to Place OBV Indicator on Meta Trader 4 XAGUSD Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window as shown and illustrated below: Go to " View " menu (then click on it), then choose the " Navigator " window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press keyboard short cut keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator window panel, select "Indicators", (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on Navigator Menu

Expand menu by clicking on the expand button key marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after this the button key will appear as (-) and will now show a list as shown and illustrated below.

From Above window you can then place any indicator that you want on the chart. The OBV silver trading volume indicator can be used as a silver trading reversal indicator, silver trading exit indicator or silver entry indicator.

Placing On Balance Volume Indicator in Chart

Step 1: Choose the On Balance Volume button key in MT4 list of technical indicators as pictured below:

Step 2: Double click the On Balance Volume Button, and click okay to place the OBV Indicator in the chart as shown below:

To Adjust the Settings, rightclick on the On Balance Volume Technical Indicator, choose properties and then edit the properties of the indicator using the pop-up menu that appears and click ok button key after changing the settings.

The following window pop up appears & On Balance Volume Trading Indicator settings can be edited from this window popup.
