What is Required Gold Margin? : Required XAUUSD Margin is the amount of money your broker requires from you to open a trade position. It is expressed in %.
What is XAUUSD Equity? : Gold Equity is the total sum of capital you have in your trading account.
What is Used Gold Margin? : Used XAUUSD Margin is the amount of money in your account that has already been used up when buying a contract, this gold contract is the one that is displayed in open trade positions. You cannot use this amount of money after opening a trade because you have already used it and it is not available to you to open another trade with.
In other terms, because your broker has opened up a position for you using the capital you have borrowed, you must preserve this used margin as a security to allow you to continue using the leverage the online broker has given you.
