What's Gold Account Type?

Gold accounts come in different types, each tailored for different styles of XAUUSD traders.

The four gold account types are:

  1. Standard Gold Account
  2. Mini Gold Account
  3. Micro Account
  4. Nano Trade Account

A standard account for gold is good for experienced gold traders with over $10,000 to start. These accounts trade using standard amounts of gold. With standard gold amounts, the profit for each small price change is $10.

The Mini Gold Account is a good choice for people who prefer to trade smaller gold deals called mini lots instead of regular ones. These mini accounts work well for investors who start with an initial investment of around $1,000 to $5,000. With a mini account, trades are made using gold mini lots. With gold mini lots, each pip movement earns $1.

The micro trade account works well for new traders. It fits those with starting funds from $250 to $500. Trades use micro lots, which run smaller than mini lots. Each micro lot earns $0.1 per pip on these accounts.

Nano Account Type - A nano account works well for beginners. It suits traders with starting deposits from $50 to $100. Trades use nano lots, which are smaller than micro lots. These nano lots are also known as cent lots. Profits per pip show up in cents on this account. Nano accounts are sometimes called gold cent accounts.
