Placing Arrows on Charts in MT4
The arrows button on the MT4 under the insert menu options is used to plot arrows on the gold charts within the MT4 Platform. The arrow buttons is shown below.
Following arrows can be plotted on the MetaTrader platform under this arrow buttons option:
- Thumbs Up
- Thumbs Down
- Arrow Up
- Arrow Down
- Stop Sign
- Check Sign
- Left Gold Price Label
- Right Gold Price Label
Thumbs Up & Thumbs Down Arrows
Thumbs up & thumbs down button can be used on trading price chart to mark levels where traders can open trades & show levels where traders can close trade. Thumbs up and thumbs down arrows are shown below. As a trader to adjust the width, right-click on these arrows, choose properties and select a different line width.
Arrow Up and Arrow Down Arrows
The arrow up and arrow down arrows are used to show the levels where one opens a buy gold trade or areas where a trader opens a sell gold trade, these arrow button keys are shown below.
Stop Sign & Check Sign
The stop sign and check sign can also be used to mark points where one opens & closes a trade, for example the image below shows where a trader opened a buy gold trade and closed the trade.
Left Gold Price Label and Right Price Label
The Gold Price labels are used to show trading prices on the particular level which these labels are set, the right trading price label will appear to the right side of the trading price while the left side will popup to the left side of the trading price as pictured on the example depicted and explained below.
