Grid, Volumes, Auto Scroll & MT4 Chart Shift Options in MT4 Platform
MT4 Grid
The MT4 grid button on the trading charts menu option of the MetaTrader 4 Software is used to draw grid lines just as shown below. One may prefer to trade with grids on the chart or not and will use this button key to explain or hide the Grid.
The MT4 Grid button is illustrated below (Shortcut for this menu is Ctrl+G)

MT4 Volumes Indicator
In the context of Gold trading, volume refers to tick volumes, which indicate how often price changes occur within a given timeframe. Higher tick movements signify increased volume, which serves as an estimate of market participation by traders.
Volumes are plotted as green bars below each candlestick, and the height of these green bars represents the tick volume for a particular stick. (Short-cut button for Volumes : Ctrl+L)

MT4 Auto Scroll
Turn on auto scroll to jump to the latest gold bar. It works on every open chart. You see fresh data without manual shifts.

MT4 Charts Shift
This MT4 Chart Shift button is used to shift the chart more towards the center, instead of the last candlestick being right at the right side of the MetaTrader 4 platform software, MT4 chart shift button will shift the most recent gold candle-stick towards the center. Traders prefer to trade with recent most gold candle-stick shifted toward the mid - this makes it easier to analyze and interpret the chart price moves when they are more toward the center.
For example illustration, the MT4 Charts Shift button is cited below as an arrow pointing down, by pressing this MT4 charts shift button within chart menus(highlighted below by a rectangle), the last candlestick will shift from the right and move up to this point just as shown in the MetaTrader 4 Charts Shift examples shown below.

MetaTrader 4 charts menu options of showing grids, volumes & activating the auto scroll option for the automatic scrolling to the most recent candlestick bar and also the MT4 charts shift button for moving the last candlestick toward the center.
