How to Place Indicators in MetaTrader 4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open MetaTrader 4 Navigator window panel as displayed below - Go to "View" menu (then click it) & then select "Navigator" window panel (click), or From Standard ToolBar click the "Navigator" button key or press the keyboard shortcut keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, choose "XAUUSD Indicators", (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the MetaTrader 4 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a listing as illustrated below.

From the Above panel you then can add any indicator you want on the chart.

Placing Zigzag MetaTrader 4 Indicator in Chart

Step 1: Select the Zigzag MT4 Indicator button on the MT4 listing of indicators as illustrated below:

Step 2: Doubleclick Zigzag MT4 Indicator Button, & click okay to place it on the chart as illustrated below:

Edit Zigzag MetaTrader 4 Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, right click in Zigzag MetaTrader 4 Indicator, select properties setting & then edit properties using the pop up menu that pops up and then click ok button key once you've changed the settings.

The following popup window appears and the Zigzag MetaTrader 4 Technical Indicator parameters can be edited from the pop up panel.
