How to Open MT4 Chart Tick Chart - MetaTrader 4 Chart Tick Chart
Tick Chart - open the tick chart of the financial instrument symbol selected. Unlike normal charts, the tick chart is located directly in the 'Market Watch' window in the MetaTrader 4 software/platform.
To Open MetaTrader 4 Market-Watch Window Panel, Click 'View' Menu next to 'File' Menu at the top left corner of MT4 Software, then from the drop down menu select 'MarketWatch' button key so as to open 'MarketWatch' on the MetaTrader 4 Platform.
Once you open Market-Watch panel the listing of available financial instruments will be displayed on the MetaTrader 4 and as trader you can open a chart from the market-watch window panel.

The market-watch window on MT4 is used to display an array of price quotes for gold.
To access this Market-Watch show of financial instruments on the MetaTrader 4 Software/Platform a xauusd trader should go to view menu as shown below and select the Market-Watch Panel by Clicking on it. (The Ctrl+M is the shortcut for accessing this panel as illustrated below, by pressing this short cut, you can open market-watch window without going to 'view' menu)

Once a trader chooses the market-watch window panel, the following panel will appear showing a list of financial instruments available for trading.

If you as a trader want to add more charts quotes on this Market-Watch window, Right Click within the Market Watch panel & a Pop Window pops up - from this popup panel select the choice/option - 'Show All' - this will then display all the trading instruments which are available for trading in MetaTrader 4 platform software.
Once these quotes are opened on the Market-Watch window panel, you can then select and choose any of the gold quote and open a chart by double clicking on that gold trading quote.

As a trader you might also want to trade an instrument that is not listed on this list as pictured below. For example illustration, on the above listing only 5 trading instruments are displayed.
To obtain the other instrument quotes that are not listed, you can right-click inside this market-watch window as illustrated below and the following popup panel window will appear.

To explain a listing of other financial instrument quotes, select 'Show All' button, this will then show all the available forex currency pairs.
