How Do I Hide XAUUSD Symbol on MetaTrader 5 XAUUSD Trading?
To hide gold Symbols on the MT5 platform use the MT5 "Market Watch" Window.
To Open the MT5 Market Watch Window, Click "View" Menu next to "File" Menu at the top left corner of the MT5 platform, then from the drop down menu select "Market Watch" button so as to open the "Market Watch" on the MT5 gold Platform.
Once you open the Market Watch window the list of available gold symbols will be displayed on the MT5 platform.
As a trader you may want to hide some of the gold symbols available on the MT5 platform so as only to be left with the trading instruments that you are only trading with.
If you want to hide gold Symbols xauusd price quotes on this Market Watch window, Right Click within the Market Watch window & a Pop Window appears – from this popup window select the option – "Hide All" – this will then close all the gold symbols that you are not trading with – only gold symbols that you have opened gold charts to trade with will be left on this display of xauusd trading symbols.
To hide gold Symbols on the MT5 platform use the step by step procedure explained below:
To Save Internet Bandwidth, (Especially if you are using mobile trader, or pay per MB internet)
To save internet bandwidth choose list of all the trading instruments you'll be trading by opening charts for only these symbols, say example, 5 trading instruments, after selecting these symbols by opening their trading charts, then select & click "Hide All" button key, this will then hide all the symbols which you don't require to trade with & this will save you internet bandwidth.
Even if you do not want to save internet bandwidth, you can select the option to "Hide All" gold symbols on the MT5 platform, this will save computer processor resources and RAM, especially if you trade with a gold broker that provides hundreds of trading instruments, gold symbols and other trading instruments, there no need to have all these 100 or 200 trading symbols streaming price quotes on your MT5 platform after all you need only about 10 to 20 trading instruments or a few trading instruments to trade with. You can always "Show All" symbols >>> then Select a new gold symbol by opening its chart, >>> Then "hide all" after you have selected the new gold symbol, your newly selected gold symbol will be added on this minimized list of trading symbols on the MT5 platform.
