How Do I Hide XAUUSD Symbol in MetaTrader 5 XAUUSD Trading?
To hide gold Symbols on the MT5 platform use the MT5 'Market Watch' Window.
To Open MetaTrader 5 Market Watch Window Panel, Click 'View' Menu next to 'File' Menu at the top left corner of MetaTrader 5 platform, then from the dropdown menu choose 'Market Watch' button key so as to open 'Market Watch' in the MetaTrader 5 gold Platform.
Once you open the Market Watch window panel the list of available gold symbols will be displayed on the MT5 platform.
As a trader you may want to hide some of the gold symbols available on the MT5 platform so as only to be left with trading instruments that you are only trading with.
If you want to hide gold Symbols xauusd price quotes on this Market Watch window, Right Click within the Market Watch window & a Pop Window appears - from this popup window select the option - 'Hide All' - this will then close all the gold quotes that you are not trading with - only gold symbols that you have opened gold charts to trade with will be left on this display of xauusd trading symbols.

To Save Internet Bandwidth, (Especially if you're using mobile trader, or pay per MB inter-net)
To save internet bandwidth choose list of all the trading instruments you will be trading by opening charts for only these quotes, say example, 5 trading instruments, after choosing these symbols by opening their charts, then select & click 'Hide All' button, this will then hide all the quotes which you do not require to trade with and this will save you inter net bandwidth.
Even if you do not want to save internet bandwidth, you can choose the option to 'Hide All' gold symbols on the MT5 platform, this will save computer processor resources and RAM, especially if you trade with a broker that provides hundreds of trading instruments, gold symbols and other instruments, there no need to have all these 100 or 200 trading symbols streaming price quotes on your MT5 platform after all you need only about 10 to 20 trading instruments or a few financial instruments to trade with. You can always 'Show All' quotes >>> then Choose a new gold quote by opening its chart, >>> Then 'hide all' after you have selected the new gold symbol, your newly selected gold symbol will be added on this minimized list of trading quotes in MT5 platform.
