How Do I Set a Sell Limit XAUUSD Order on MetaTrader 4?
The example illustrated and explained below explains how to set a sell limit order on the MT4 platform.
A sell limit order is an order to sell gold at a better xauusd trading price after the xauusd trading price has retraced.
Setting Sell Limit Gold Orders on MetaTrader 4 XAUUSD Trading Software
To set up these sell limit orders on the MT4 platform use the following procedure:
- Right click on xauusd chart
- Select "Trading" Option on the Menu
- Then Select "New" Order Option on the Pop up widow that appears
- Then on the trade setup popup window that appears (shown below), under the label "Type" select the option of "Pending XAUUSD Order" instead of "market execution"
- Under the pending xauusd order options select the pending gold order type: for This trade select "Sell Limit Gold Order" so as to place a pending sell limit order and after that specify the xauusd trading price at which you want the sell entry limit gold order executed.
