How Do I Set a Sell Limit XAUUSD Order on MetaTrader 4?
The examples illustrated and described below explains how to set a sell limit order on the MetaTrader 4 platform.
A sell limit pending order is an order to sell gold at a better xauusd trading price after the xauusd trading price has retraced.
Setting Sell Limit Gold Orders in MT4 Software
To set these sell limit pending orders in MetaTrader 4 platform use the following procedure:
- Right click on xauusd chart
- Choose "Trading" Option on the Menu
- Then Choose "New" Order Option on the Popup widow that pops up
- Then on the trade setup pop up window panel that appears (illustrated below), under label "Type" choose the option of "Pending XAUUSD Order" instead of "market execution" trade order
- Under the pending xauusd order options select the pending gold order type: for This trade choose "Sell Limit Gold Order" so as to set a pending sell limit order & after which specify the xauusd trading price at which you want the sell entry limit gold order executed.
