A new order to buy or sell a trade can be found on the tools menu within the MT4 Platform. The button for placing a new trade transaction is shown below. (Keyboard Short Cut Keys "F9")
Placing a New XAUUSD Trading Order
As a gold trader, once you select the new order button as illustrated above the following popup window will appear. This popup includes all the settings for placing a new trade order.
Select the trading instrument that you want to set a Sell Limit Gold Order for - then open it's gold chart and from the gold chart set the Sell Limit Gold Order using the Sell Limit Gold Order setting procedure explained on this example illustrated and explained below:

To set up these sell limit orders on the MT4 platform use the following procedure:
- Right click on xauusd chart
- Select "Trading" Option on the Menu
- Then Select "New" Order Option on the Pop up widow that appears
- Then on the trade setup popup window that appears (shown below), under the label "Type" select the option of "Pending XAUUSD Order" instead of "market execution"
- Under the pending xauusd order options select the pending gold order type: for This trade select "Sell Limit Gold Order" so as to place a pending sell limit order and after that specify the xauusd price at which you want the sell entry limit gold order executed.
