Templates on the Charts Menu in the MetaTrader 4 Platform Software

Templates option is provided for within the charts menu on the MT4 software. MT4 template is used by many traders to save their gold systems, this way they can load the trade system on a new chart direct from this template option without having to put the chart indicators one by one each time that they open a new trading chart. MetaTrader 4 Change Template - traders can also use these MetaTrader 4 template option to save more than one gold trading templates & they keep changing from one template to another when trading in MT4 charts

Save a System as a Template in MT4 Platform Software

For example as a trader you might come up with a trading system illustrated and shown below.

This system takes 5 minutes to set-up, It would take you five minutes to set it up on each chart you open. But the MT4 template will save you this time by saving this system as a MT4 template and to place this MT4 template on to another chart you only need to load the template on the MetaTrader 4 software.

To save the above gold system you'll open the templates button within the charts menu in MetaTrader 4 & use the save template option.

After choosing the save template button the following pop up will appear and you as a trader can save MetaTrader 4 template & give it a name such as shown below.

The first step is to give the MT4 template a name, we name our MetaTrader 4 template as tradeforextrading & click the save button.

To load and add a template on the MetaTrader 4 software, go the charts menu on the MetaTrader 4 software choose the templates button & select the sub menu item for load template. This will load the named template on to the new chart just as is displayed and shown below.

The named template on the MetaTrader 4 software is shown on the list above: this is a short cut for the available templates that have been saved on the MetaTrader 4 software. Another option is using the "Load Template", which's the second option labeled and marked as "Load Template" on the template menu sub items on the MetaTrader 4.

The third option in the MetaTrader 4 template sub menus is the remove template: this sub-menu item will remove any MetaTrader 4 template that's loaded on the gold chart.
