The Sub Menu, within the MT4 Indicators Insert Menu can be used to place these MT4 Indicators on a forex chart by selecting and then clicking on the MT4 Chart Indicator to place it on the forex chart.
Once you click on an MT4 indicator the following pop-up will appear:
As a trader you can just click 'OK' button key to place the MT4 Indicator on the forex chart.
You can also change a few MT4 Indicators setting, for example in the above MT4 Indicator you can set the color style to blue, change the line width and change the period used to calculate the MT4 Indicator settings.
A level can also be added by selecting 'Levels' button key as shown and illustrated below:
To add a level on a MetaTrader 4 indicator, just click the add button & choose the level where you want to add this zones, normally this is set as a number. The color of the level can also be changed on the style button key marked silver along with the format of the line & the width of the line.
The next button shown below, visualization button is used to determine which forex chart time frame the MT4 technical indicator should appear on:
By default a forex MT4 indicator is set to appear on all the forex chart time frames, but you can uncheck the "All Time frames" option and select fewer forex chart time frames where you want the MT4 indicator to appear on, for example by selecting only the M15, H1 and H4, this way it will not appear on any other forex chart apart from these three forex chart time frames - to have it show on all forex chart time frames just check the "All Time frames" option.
